If you are interested in a bit that's currently out of stock in your desired size that is already listed on the product page please register your interest on the specific product page and get an email alert once we are restocked.
If you would however like to order a new bit, for example in a size, cheekpiece or mouthpiece we do not offer, we would love to hear from you and see if we can make your request a reality.

How Does it Work?
1. You Tell Us What You Need

2. We Clarify Your Order
In a day or two we will acknowledge the receipt of your request additional information and discuss the specifics of what you are looking for.
3. You Get a Quote and a Timeline
Once we have enough information we will provide you with a quote and a timeline.
4. We Place an Order
After you have confirmed that the order is correct and the timeline and cost suits your needs, we place an order.
5. Your Bit is Ready!
Typically about 2-3 months later we get in touch with you when the order is ready to ship. We send you images before the bit ships to make sure it's up to your specifications.
You Pay and We Ship
From here on the process follows any other purchase on our website. You'll pay via link we send and your order will ship the next business day after payment is received with tracking information shared with you.

We do our best to fit into the same price structure as the bits on the website. For example, a special order of one of our bits without a copper roller will cost the same as the usual version. A Western Curb will be priced similarly to a pelham etc.
Overall our prices reflect what it costs to produce the bit - the amount (and cost) of material, craftsmanship and shipping costs to bring them over to Canada.
It tales about 2-3 months from the date of the order. Yes, we know it's long. But the order truly is custom made for you and your horse.
While we can attempt to produce a bit with a similar mode of action, material and elements, creating an exact replica of a bit is not something we do.
We are not the original manufacturer so cannot ensure that the design will be comparable and we respect the work that our colleagues from other companies put into their designs.
Most of our customers that order custom take inspiration from a variety of designs to put together their own unique bit.
No, we do not currently offer returns on custom bits.
If we do not receive the payment from you within 5 business days of notifying you that the bit is ready to ship, we list the bit for sale on the website.
