My horse likes something with tongue relief but I didn't want to spend $200+ on a bit to try. He loves the Agador's Calmride and it's easier on my wallet. The only thing keeping this review from being 5 stars is I find the bit fits big. He is always a 5" and I think we could have sized down.

My young partners arab struggled with bit issues. I have tried an array of bits that she was very unhappy in until I came across this style and size.i bought one like this off another website only a 5inch and she accepted it happily..it was evident she needed a bit smaller one..and hére it is! Great quality bit. It is smoother and lighter in weight than a normal Waterford. My horse easily accepted this bit and is carrying herself better. Helps to keep her focused and steady in the contact without bracing. Agadors has excellent customer service with easy and quick shipping. Highly recommend ordering from them!

Amazing. I bought this on a whim as I had recently had a few frustrating rides on my 22 year old warmblood whom I’ve been riding for 15 years. He’s always been sensitive in the mouth, unstable in the contact. Fussy. I have always ridden him in a double jointed snaffle with a lozenge, thinking it was the go to for acceptance.
When he gets behind the bit and reluctant to go forward into contact working him in a gentle hackamore has been my go to. This more solid mouthpiece is never something I “thought” he’d like. I’ve had 4 rides in it now and he just keeps feeling better. He’s so willing to stretch and feels so soft! My half halts aren’t being met with resistance. I love riding my old horse again!

My horse has never had a good relationship with a bit. He has fought me on every bit I have tried on him. He fusses with it in his mouth and avoids the contact. Until this one. This is the first bit that I have tried on my gelding that he has been quiet in for more than a day. He loves the taste, and the roller. This is the only bit he genuinely likes. Agador was more than happy to answer my question regarding the size of the cheek piece on the size I wanted. All of my future bits for future horses will come from here.
This bit has been really helpful for my mare who is sensitive to poll pressure and tended to lock her jaw against a hand that was too strong in an eggbutt snaffle. I tried this bit from my trainer and she is so much happier with both myself and my students that ride her. I have tried this bit on a few others as well and for the most part, they have all responded really well! There was only one horse out of 4 that didn’t like it.
