New to us pony was ridden in a Mullen which she chomped on a lot. Switched her to a French link and she was still chewing. Purchased this bit (super fast shipping) and the pony is now very quiet and going nicely in this bit! Happy for the small sizes as they aren’t readily available in local tack shops
This bit has worked well. My horse is responsive and accepting. I like it.
My big warmblood rides a lot lighter on the forehand in this bit, but it was a little big. I plan on trying it in a smaller size, but hope for the same results. I typically ride him in a 5-3/4 so that's what I got. I have the 5-1/2 on the way. He has been in training since February 2024 and is 6 yrs old, so he still has some of that baby brain.
I bought this bit for my young horse on the advice of my trainer. We were looking for a bit to stop him from leaning and pulling down but also one that is milder than a regular Waterford. This one fits the bill and my horse has accepted it really well. I would definitely purchase another bit in the future. The quality and price is very good.

Theo seems to really really love this bit. I've given it a few months and the rust part has come through very nicely, he accepts it well, doesn't fuss with it, and willing moves forward and engages it!

My mare loves this mouthpiece but would sometimes put her tongue over with different cheekpieces. The baucher keeps it more stable in her mouth when contact is applied and she loves it!
I poured over the reviews to decide which bit to get so Im writing this review in case it helps anyone else! I felt an instant difference with this bit on my pony! She was super wiggly (even a dressage coach had trouble keeping her in a straight line) and tossed her head around a lot with the old bit. With the new bit, she settled down and is super easy to steer. It did take us a ride or two to figure out our brakes again because she was in a French Link beforehand but now we have no issues
Unsure if my horse likes it yet... I think he liked the calm blue better . however they were out if stock in the size I needed , so I tried this one. It's a lovely bit - quick shipping. Just not certain it's the right one for us yet. :)
Super easy to order, good prices and I received it in like two business days after I ordered it! And my horse loves this bit, he has always been difficult to bridle and he is easy to bridle with this bit. He prefers it over a super flexible rubber bit even!
I have tried so many bits on my guy before finally giving up and going bit less. He either gnashes his teeth or tries to get his tongue over or just doesn’t listen. I tried this bit with him after 2 years but less and he took it right away and just sat silently with it in his mouth. No complaint at all! He also responds beautifully with this bit to the slightest touch, making me so much lighter in the hands. Never going back to any other bit.

My mare has a shallow mouth and cannot tolerate any thick snaffle bit or bradoon. She is completely quiet and happy with this bradoon by itself, and will put it with the curb bit that she likes by itself. I hope the combination will work for her.
My horse is 27 years old and his previous owner showed him in a double corkscrew, which I felt was much too harsh. He used to root and pull every ride. With this calming bit he is soft and goes on the buckle in all three gaits. Wish I had know about this bit years ago!
