My pony seems to really like the SmoothRide Baucher snaffle. I ordered a second one for my other pony. It’s such a well made bit.
Nice blue steel mouth piece with slight curve, better than any of the plain snaffle alternatives. My horse loves it.
My greenie mustang did very well for her first time in this bit today. I felt like she was more attentive to my cues and had more finesse in her turns. She had no objections to it- no chomping on it or anything.
This is the exact bit I was looking for to jump my developing 6 yo. Stability for turning without taking away from pace, while encouraging softness. And, bonus, it's affordable! Thanks, Agadors!
My mare definitely loves this bit and pretty much every bit I try her in associated with this company! And the price is a steal!!!
My horse and I both like this bit. I had him in a similar bit that was too big. My trainer recommended this bit. I measured and sized down, and he seems very happy with it.
This smoothride Baucher is the perfect fit for my youngster. He is just being started and I wanted a quiet bit to introduce him to. He doesn't fuss with it at all. I have quiet hands, so a super quiet bit matches the whole partnership.
I have a few different bits from Agadors. Each one suits the specific horse I have them for.
Transitioning our young mare into a bit for further education, so far she is doing great and seeming to like this bit.
My mare loves this! She is less fussy in the mouth then she was before when she was in a higher price point brand sweet iron Mullen mouth.
My mare seems to be accepting the bit well. It is good quality.
I bought this bit with advice from my trainer for working with my 4 year old draft cross. He has a soft mouth but is still learning his aids, and he has been much happier in this bit, starting to seek contact and not being as heavy on the forehand in his transitions. Highly recommended!
Very nice bit. Well made and my horse accepts it well. Unfortunately, Consider that you may have to size up for this bit, I ordered the size my horse usually wears but it's not big enough, so will have to purchase another one for the right size.
My horse absolutely loves this bit. He was going in a very nice double broken D-ring by HS, but he just hated it and resisted contact, and had a really difficult time translating turn cues (green).
Agador’s has everything you could want and more for the price point. The first thing I noticed was he started taking the bit out of my hands and dropping his head into the bridle. He certainly wasn’t resistant to bridling, but wasn’t a self-bridler.
The fulmer style gives him a kind, soft support through straights and bends, and I can feel his mouth better. He seems to love the copper roller, and plays with it during breaks. It is not pinchy when I hold it.
It is a thicker bit and may not suit very small bars.
A very well made bit! I have a new horse with a very busy mouth who is tricky in the connection. Agador pricing makes it possible for me to afford to try a lot of bits to find the one that my horse is most comfortable with. I recently purchased the ExLab Smooth Ride Blue Fulmer snaffle because I felt the full cheek could offer stability but the loose ring gives more response with subtle feel. I only have 5 rides in it so far but his acceptance is definitely better than previous snaffles. Perhaps it's not the final choice but it's great to know there are so many affordable options!
Quality, value, gives me better ability to make a horse happy while working.
Great quality! Great small business with excellent customer service.
Originally ordered the 5.5 inch Baucher, it was a bit too small so ordered the 5.75 inch Baucher. My Friesian cross seems to like it so far.
It fits my mare perfectly! She loves to play with the roller. For sure will be ordering another one!
Great bit and my horse loves it. Plus with the extra large D I can now use my super fancy cob sized bridle.
My girl loves the new bit. Now I order the approved dressage bit for competition
I Only just got the bit and tried it out a couple of times...I thought I wanted the eggbutt but am glad I got the loose ring as it is easy to slide with the reins making it a little more pleasant for my horse. I think she likes it as she is not chomping down on it like she did with others. The slight arc is also nicer on the tongue and I hope with more use she will be happier with the roller as well. It seems a bit thicker in diameter and a bit heavy which I didn't like but does not seem to bother her so I guess I'm good with it too. Happy with the great price and Canadian made too!!
