Agador's was created to deliver high-quality, well fitting and comfortable tack at a fair price.

We started this company in 2022 because it was really hard to find a bit for our mare Summer, affectionately called the Dragon.

Summer was a devoted head shaker despite dental and vet visits that found nothing wrong. As part of our journey finding tack that won't bother her we wanted a place to try out different kinds of bits that didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

The Dragon who Started Agador's

Our approach is simple: quality is the most important. The products need to be made with top-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship - no sharp edges or loose threads that could compromise safety.

Second, create the best-fitting products possible. We've studied and keep up to date on literature about fitting bits, what works for different types of horses, the mechanisms and the use cases. We have completed coursework in bits and bitting science with distinction and have assembled a team of experts that we regularly consult and develop new products with consisting of other bit fitters, FEI level riders, an FEI veterinarian and an osteopath who regularly treats Olympic show jumping horses.

More importantly, we are avid practitioners who go out, test the products on our horses, let others test the products and offer virtual bit fitting services that help you decide whether a bit works for your horse. Your feedback is weaved through everything we do.

All of this has resulted in a system where we aim to carry at least one bit that would fit each horse. We currently carry six mouth pieces that are each catering to a different anatomy profile. As your horse progresses you have the option to switch up the cheekpiece to access "more buttons" without compromising the fit.

We don't get this right 100% but almost every horse we fit is able to find a bit that is incrementally better than the current one. Our trial periods are 30 days to give you enough time to decide for yourself without the pressure of a fast return.

We write a blog where we discuss the way different bits and riding tools work as well as our own observations on the field.

Finally, we try our best to offer products at accessible prices so that more horses and ponies can be ridden in a bit that fits.

In short, we aim to provide products that elevate the connection between you and your horse without breaking the bank.

Thank you for your choosing and trusting us!
