The Calmride mouthpiece is designed to provide comfort and tongue relief for horses with sensitive tongues or other oral issues. This stainless steel bit features a curved mouthpiece with a barrel in the center. This design allows extra space for the horse's tongue, facilitates better gliding over the tongue as reins are engaged and preventing it from being pinched or pressed against the roof of the mouth.

The loose ring cheek encourages natural movement of the bit, allowing the mouthpiece to self-center and respond fluidly to the rider's hand. This freedom is particularly helpful for horses who brace against static contact or need encouragement to chew and soften. The mobility of the ring can also increase feel and responsiveness in the rider’s hands.

Crafted from stainless steel with an embedded copper inlay, this bit is low-maintenance and highly durable.
