Temporary Updates to Our Shipping Policy Due to CUPW Strike
Canada Post workers have announced strike action beginning May 22, 2025.
As of May 17, we have paused all Canada Post shipments and will not resume them until the strike ends. This might affect our rural customers or those requiring P.O. Box shipments.
While we anticipate that we wil be able to serve the majority of our customers it is likely that some orders will have to be cancelled due to deliverability issues. We will contact the affected customers and issue full refunds.
We're committed to getting your order to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. Here’s what you need to know.
Order Shipments
No, as of now, you can expect regular delivery timelines as we do not use Canada Post for cross border shipments.
No. As of May 17, we have paused all Canada Post shipments and will not resume them until the strike ends.
The areas least likely to be affected by delays are large urban centres or suburbs, e.g. GTA, GVA, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, which have strong delivery networks of alternative carriers.
The customers most likely to ber affected are those who only receive mail by Canada Post, Fedex or Purolator and/or live in small, rural communities many hours away from urban centres.
We cannot deliver to customers with P.O. Box addresses during the strike.
We recommend waiting until the strike resolves if you identify with one of the higher risk customer groups.
We are doing our best to minimize delays, but some disruptions are likely due to the strike. We’ve proactively switched to alternate couriers (e.g. UniUni, ICS, Fleet Express, UPS) to ensure your order is still delivered promptly.
Unfortunately, no.
During the strike, PO Box addresses are not supported by our alternate couriers. If you provided a PO Box at checkout, we’ll need to contact you for a valid street address. This may delay your order, so we strongly recommend double-checking your shipping info before placing an order.
Depending on your location, your order will be delivered via one of the following:
- UniUni
- ICS Express
-Fleet Express
- UPS
You’ll receive a tracking number as usual once your order ships.
We do not ship with Intelcom or Purolator as those services often rely on Canada Post for final mile delivery.
We do not offer shipipng with Fedex.
No, we currently do not ship Fedex.
If it’s been more than 3 business days since you placed your order and you haven’t received a tracking update, feel free to reach out to us at hello@agadors.com. We’ll be happy to help.
We do not have a public facing store front. We currently do not offer in person pick up.
Returns
Not at all! You’ll still be eligible for refunds or exchanges per our policy.
We have temporarily extended the return window to 60 days for our Canadian customers to allow for any delays in shipping. If you rely on Canada Post for return shipping please contact us about your intention to return and we will work out a solution.
We just ask for a little more patience as we work around the strike.
There are some temporary changes:
- 30 day window for returns and exchanges is extended to 60 days
- we have halted issuing all return labels
- if the product you received is defective or damaged, just contact us - we’ll send you a replacement without requiring you to ship the item back.
Yes, absolutely.
We understand that many returns were sent out before the strike began or before it was widely known. If your return is currently in transit with Canada Post and appears stuck, don’t worry - we’ll still accept it when it eventually arrives.
You don’t need to take any action right now. Just hang onto your tracking number, and if the package continues to show no movement for more than 3 weeks, feel free to contact us and we’ll work out a solution for you.
If your return was time-sensitive (e.g. for an exchange or refund window), we’ll make reasonable exceptions given the circumstances. Our goal is to be fair and flexible during this disruption.
