CalmGreen Hunter D-Ring Snaffle

The CalmGreen mouthpiece is a combination of stainless steel barrel with a copper strip and our signature green rubber covered cannons.

The cannons of the bit move independently to create a precision in communication between the rider and the horse while minimising pressure on the tongue. 

Just like CalmBlue and CalmRide mouthpieces the CalmGreen rotates 360 degrees around the barrel, however, the mouthpiece moves less inward making it more stable and exert even less tongue pressure.

The copper strip on the barrel enhances taste and sensation in the midlde of the tongue without adding extra movement or pressure points.

This bit features a Hunter-style D-ring fixed cheekpiece that provides added stability, with an extended cheek bar to support clearer guidance through turns.

Paired with a rubber-coated barrel link mouthpiece, this combination is well suited to horses with limited space between the tongue and palate, those with particularly sensitive tongues requiring precise communication, and horses that benefit from a barrel link but prefer the softer feel of a rubber-coated bit.

This bit is not suitable for horses with very sensitive bars.
