ComfortArch Weymouth features a unique curved mullen design that creates defined contact on the sides of the tongue. The anatomical curve focuses pressure along the tongue's lateral edges while maintaining central tongue freedom - providing clear, steady communication for horses that travel better with this pressure distribution.
The German silver construction promotes acceptance through its superior thermal properties, while the 14mm mouthpiece ensures optimal stability. The engineered geometry specifically directs pressure to the sides of the tongue rather than its center or the bars. Every surface has been precisely smoothed to create consistent contact without sharp pressure points.
The forward-angled midpoint works with the anatomical curve to create steady, reliable contact while maintaining central tongue comfort. The 50mm shanks are shorter than typical and makes it suitable for sensitive horses or those starting out with the double bridle.
This Weymouth excels at promoting clear communication through its focused lateral pressure distribution - especially beneficial for horses that travel better with reduced central tongue pressure or need help maintaining steady contact in double bridle work.

Is this bit right for my horse?
Riders often choose this bit for:
- Horses that play with the bit with tongue and lips: a stable mullen with no moving parts
- Head tossing in very sensitive horses: no moving parts means no unexpected palate contact
- Horses that put their tongue over the bit: plenty of tongue relief
Worth knowing:
- The port is more defined than it looks, so expect a stronger, more direct feel than our softer mullens
- Not for horses that chew the bit with their teeth: the port gives molars something to grab
Every horse is an individual. If you are not sure, take our two minute quiz or write to hello@agadors.com and we will help you decide.
