ComfortGlide Loose Ring Bradoon
The ComfortGlide mouthpiece features a thoughtfully engineered double-jointed design with an optimized curvature that works harmoniously with your horse's oral anatomy. Our refined angle of the link placement and curved cannons to minimise any interference with the palate create smoother communication compared to traditional designs, particularly beneficial for horses that find standard double-jointed bits too invasive.
The flattened links provide a broader contact surface across the bars, helping distribute pressure more evenly without sharp edges. This reduces focused pressure points while maintaining clear communication between horse and rider.
Made from German silver (a copper-nickel-zinc alloy), this bit develops a mild taste that some horses accept well. The 12mm mouthpiece works particularly well for horses that respond well to double jointed designs but cannot accommodate a bulkier mouthpiece.
The fixed D-ring cheeks offer clear directional guidance through subtle contact with the sides of the face, making this an excellent choice for jumping and flatwork.
The smaller loose ring bradoon cheekpiece allows for greater mobility, encouraging softer responses and promoting relaxation in the jaw. This makes it an excellent choice for double bridle setups or for horses that benefit from lighter, more nuanced rein aids.
