FlexFlow Eggbutt Snaffle
The FlexFlow Eggbutt Snaffle combines a semi-flexible green rubber mouthpiece with a stable eggbutt cheekpiece, designed for horses with a smaller interdental space who benefit from a softer, more giving contact with added stability.
The FlexFlow mouthpiece features a reduced port and gentle curve that follow the natural contour of the tongue without creating excess pressure, encouraging a relaxed jaw and a quiet, accepting mouth. The semi-flexible core responds to the horse's movement, reducing fixed pressure points and promoting softness in the contact.
The eggbutt cheekpiece provides more stability than a loose ring, making it a great choice for young horses still learning, more sensitive and reactive horses, and riders with less experienced hands.
Mouthpiece Thickness: 14mm

⚠ Not for chewers. Rubber is soft, which is what makes it gentle in the mouth. But a horse that chews will destroy it fast, in some cases within five minutes. Simple test: if your horse leaves teeth marks on the bit, rubber is a no go, choose metal instead. Rubber bits are also final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.

Is this bit right for my horse?
Riders often choose this bit for:
- Sensitive or nervous horses: semi-flexible rubber with a smaller port
- Horses that stay behind the bit or avoid contact
- Horses coming back to a bit after going bitless
Worth knowing:
- Rubber: not chew proof, not even a little. Horses that chew with their teeth will wreck the port. Not returnable once used. If you are unsure, we usually suggest trying the CalmBlue first
The eggbutt keeps the bit still. A good match for busy-mouthed horses and those that prefer stability.
Every horse is an individual. If you are not sure, take our two minute quiz or write to hello@agadors.com and we will help you decide.
