The baby blue mullen mouthpiece creates stability for horses that can be inconsistent and busy in the mouth with jointed mouthpieces. It has a gentle curve (15mm) to create space for the tongue and medium thickness to accommodate a variety of anatomies including those with lower set pre-molars that might interfere with classic ported designs. 

Made of sweet iron this mouthpiece releases a sweet taste as it gets in contact with saliva that many horses prefer.

This bit features a Hunter Style D ring cheekpiece which is a fixed cheekpiece that offers more stability. The extended bar on the cheekpiece adds support which makes it a good choice for horses that might struggle through turns.

A simple bit, it often is a good starting piece for a young horse who is beginning their training.

Note: Sweet iron bits naturally oxidize over time, with the blue coating developing a brown/grey patina. This process releases the pleasant taste many horses prefer.
