Special Edition: Baby Blue Swivel Hunter Dee
Our Baby Blue mullen mouthpiece has a gentle curve (20mm) to create space for the tongue and medium thickness to accommodate a variety of anatomies.
Made of sweet iron this mouthpiece releases a sweet taste as it gets in contact with saliva that many horses prefer.
A swivel cheekpiece allows the rein to move independently from the mouthpiece, reducing fixed rotation and drag. When the rider takes contact, the rein can align itself more naturally with the direction of the aid instead of forcing the mouthpiece to rotate or twist first.
This is mostly beneficial to horses who prefer little to no rotation in the mouth at all and instead can work off of more subtle cues such as increase in pressure and rotation of cheekipece itself.

Please note that sweet iron bits oxidise naturally and the blue parts will over time develop a thin layer of rust and turn brown/grey. This is by design as the "rust" is what creates the taste so many horses love.

Worth knowing:
- The thicker profile may be too much for a horse with limited room in its mouth
- This bit will rust, and it needs to: the surface patina is what creates the warm, sweet taste. Do not submerge it in water or expose it to excessively humid or moist environments, and always wipe it dry after use to ensure longevity and function
