The ComfortLink mouthpiece is crafted from German silver, known for its warmer feel and slight sweetness when in contact with saliva. The anatomically curved cannons are designed to conform to the horse's oral cavity, while the carefully engineered joint angle prevents any possible digging into the palate.

The unique curvature provides optimal weight distribution across the tongue and bars, making this an excellent choice for horses that may be sensitive to sharper pressure from traditional single-jointed snaffles. 

German silver develops a warming effect in the mouth and may encourage salivation and acceptance. This mouthpiece bridges the gap between the responsiveness of a single joint and the comfort of more complex mouthpiece designs.

The D Ring cheekpiece is a gentle yet versatile choice and is suitable for all training levels. It can be useful to think of a D Ring cheekpiece as a hybrid between the eggbutt and the full cheek offering both stability and enhanced lateral control by applying some pressure on the cheeks when steering. D-Ring cheekpieces are particularly popular in the Western and Hunter rings.
