My young horse had trouble accepting and taking the bit. He would just walk around with his mouth open when a regular snaffle was used. So I purchased the CalmBlue Eggbutt snaffle, in the hope that the sweet iron would encourage him to close his mouth. He is pretty busy with his mouth and he has a busy mind so the cricket would hopefully help for that.

I tried multiple bits with my filly over the winter and had yet to find one that I really liked and that she went well in. She’s only 3, so she’s obviously going through a lot of changes in her mouth. She really likes this bit and is now starting to accept contact. I like that this bit is very similar to the Fager bits without the crazy price tag!

I was careful in selecting a bit for my horse who is normally ridden in a bosal and this was a great choice! He seems to like the roller and was really calm and responsive with the bit so far. I let him hang out with it for an hour to get used to it the first time and when I went to take it off, he didn't want to let go! I'll be back for more :)

I have a thoroughbred who can be stiff and has difficulty settling into the contact. He seems to really like this bit. He is softer and stays round more consistently. He can toss his head with a strong contact and he doesn’t do that as much in this bit. He also salivates more.

My horse and I both like this bit. I had him in a similar bit that was too big. My trainer recommended this bit. I measured and sized down, and he seems very happy with it.

My horse absolutely loves this bit. He was going in a very nice double broken D-ring by HS, but he just hated it and resisted contact, and had a really difficult time translating turn cues (green).
Agador’s has everything you could want and more for the price point. The first thing I noticed was he started taking the bit out of my hands and dropping his head into the bridle. He certainly wasn’t resistant to bridling, but wasn’t a self-bridler.
The fulmer style gives him a kind, soft support through straights and bends, and I can feel his mouth better. He seems to love the copper roller, and plays with it during breaks. It is not pinchy when I hold it.
It is a thicker bit and may not suit very small bars.

My gelding had his front teeth extracted due to EOTRH, leaving his already thick tongue to sit more forward in his mouth, making the bit he'd been in for over a decade fit differently. As soon as I realized that his usual lozenge link wasn't comfortable anymore, I looked for an alternative that had a good curved shape, but wasn't overly solid feeling, and if it was a "sweet" material like the old bit that would be a bonus. That brought me to this one, and it's perfect! Pony is much more comfortable, seeking the contact, but not leaning on the bit like he does in a traditional mullen mouth. This bit, as well as the pelham with this mouthpiece he goes in with his lesson kids, is beautifully made, rivaling many of the $$$$$ brands, and the customer service is impeccable to boot! I recommend the company to all my friends, and will not hesitate to purchase from them again.

I recently purchased as I have a young medium pony I am breaking and wanted something comfortable for him. It is so hard to find pony sized bits and this is built so beautifully. He loves it and it’s helping him learn to accept the contact.

I had been looking for a bit that would give a little more comfort to my horse who has a fairly severe parrot mouth. He looooooves it! So so so soft in the mouth since switching, the first time I put it on he was licking and chewing on it. I noticed the biggest difference when we jumped, he gets so heavy in the hand and he was like a different horse. Can’t say enough great things, definitely recommend to anyone who is dealing with a sensitive mouth!!

Amazing. I bought this on a whim as I had recently had a few frustrating rides on my 22 year old warmblood whom I’ve been riding for 15 years. He’s always been sensitive in the mouth, unstable in the contact. Fussy. I have always ridden him in a double jointed snaffle with a lozenge, thinking it was the go to for acceptance.
When he gets behind the bit and reluctant to go forward into contact working him in a gentle hackamore has been my go to. This more solid mouthpiece is never something I “thought” he’d like. I’ve had 4 rides in it now and he just keeps feeling better. He’s so willing to stretch and feels so soft! My half halts aren’t being met with resistance. I love riding my old horse again!

This bit has been really helpful for my mare who is sensitive to poll pressure and tended to lock her jaw against a hand that was too strong in an eggbutt snaffle. I tried this bit from my trainer and she is so much happier with both myself and my students that ride her. I have tried this bit on a few others as well and for the most part, they have all responded really well! There was only one horse out of 4 that didn’t like it.

Amazing bit, similar to Myler at the fraction of the price. Mare seems to be more relaxed and accepting.
